COURSE ADVANCED TECHNIQUES FOR JYOTISH, VEDIC ASTROLOGY

Learn to use Jaimini, Chara Dasha, Systems Approach, KP, Brighu Progressions, Tertiary Progressions, Eclipses, Astrocartography and Tajika/Western Aspects, the Outer Planets.

This course can be used as part of the level 2 certification program of the American College of Vedic Astrology (ACVA). It is worth 100 credit hours for ACVA certification level 2.

This course is for students of Jyotish that already have an intermediate knowledge of Vedic Astrology and want to explore more techniques.    

In the course Advanced Techniques for Jyotish you will learn the basics of a number of techniques which are very useful and which work in practice.

The contents are:

• 2 lessons about Jaimini Astrology (which is teached by K.N. Rao and Sanjay Rath). You will learn use of Jaimini karakas, Arudha Padas, Jaimini Aspects and Chara Dashas.   
• 2 lessons about Systems Approach (the method teached by VK Choudhry). Both the basics and the application to predictive astrology are explained.  
• 2 lessons about Krishnamurti Paddhati also called KP: Use of house significators, Dasha interpretation by KP, KP and profession. 
• 1 lesson about Tajika/Western Aspects and transits (mainly devoted to how to apply Uranus, Neptune and Pluto in Vedic Chart analysis)
• 1 lesson about progressions (among them Tertiary progressions) and directions which includes Brighu progressions which are used in nadi analysis
• 1 lesson about eclipses (one of the oldest techniques of astrology)
• 1 lesson about Astrocartography which is a method to determine the astrological influence a certain location has on a person.

At the end of each lesson there will be one or more assignments in which you use the knowledge which you just learned. All assignments will be done on the basis of the personal chart.

The course material includes:

• Links to websites for further study
• Links to freeware astrological software programs, which enables you to make the charts and calculations. The use of these programs is explained in the course material. After you have learned how to use these programs you can use them in your astrological work. 

PREQUISITES FOR DOING THE COURSE

• Knowledge of Jyotish on an intermediate level. If you have done the basic course Applied Vedic Astrology and the Advanced Course you are ready to do the course. However, it is also possible that you have acquired the necessary knowledge elsewhere. If that is the case please send an email in which you give details about your previous studies.
• A computer and an internet connection. It is important that you are able to download the recommended freeware software and that you have a computer with which you can make calculations and charts. You will find instructions on how to use the software in the course material.

Fee: If the course has to be sent by regular mail the fee is two terms of $ 180. The internet offer is 2 times $ 135. In that case the material will be sent to you as a Word file.

COURSE ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE OF VEDIC ASTROLOGY, JYOTISH

Rectification of a chart, setting up an astrological practise, more KP, advanced techniques for analysing relationships, Iyer techniques (yogi point, avayogi a.o.), partial aspects,  fatal degrees, rashi tulya navamsha, how to use dispositors to summarize a chart, akriti and sankhya yogas, special yogas (neecha bhanga, vipareeta, house yogas, kala sarpa a.o.).

This course can be used as part of the level 2 certification program of the American College of Vedic Astrology (ACVA). It is worth 100 credit hours for ACVA certification level 2.

This is another course for students of Jyotish that have an intermediate knowledge of Vedic Astrology and want to explore more techniques.    

The contents are:

• A lesson about different methods to rectify a chart.
• A lesson about how to set up an astrological practise and work as a professional astrologer.
• Two advanced lessons about KP (Krishnamurti Paddhati).
• A lesson about advanced Vedic techniques for the analysing of relationships.       
• A lesson about Iyer techniques (yogi, avayogi, duplicate yogi, burned rasis, sole enemies and so on).
• A lesson about partial aspects, fatal degrees in a chart and the rashi tulya navamsha.
• A lesson about how to use the analysing of dispositors to summarize a chart.
• A lesson about akriti and sankhya (numerological) yogas.
• A lesson about special yogas like neecha bhanga, vipareeta, kala sarpa, arishta and house yogas.

This course consists of ten lessons. The fee is:

• If the course has to be sent by regular mail: two terms of $ 180.
• If it can be sent to you as a Word file over the internet: two terms of $ 135.   

If you want to do both courses it is recommended to first do the course advanced techniques for Jyotish and next the course advanced knowledge. However, this is an advice only.
